The Chair of Electron Devices, headed by Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Lothar Frey, is contributing to applied research in the fields of semiconductor technology and fabrication. Research is centered around development, characterization and simulation of novel semiconductor technologies and devices as well as the development and optimization of fabrication tools and materials for micro- and nanoelectronics.
